A New Chapter, Written in Fabric

FaeryStar Designs has officially stepped into its next era, one stitched with intention, creativity, and a little bit of mischief.

Our new studio in Haltom City is more than a workspace. It’s a living, breathing realm of couture magic. Housed inside Lonestar Threadworks….if you don’t know them, you absolutely should. They embroider, make patches, stickers and vinyl signs. Its been an incredible fit.

The Studio That Chose Us

Moving a studio isn’t just a logistical project, it’s a quest. Dress forms become stubborn traveling companions. Fabric bolts behave like enchanted waterfalls. And the cutting table? It absolutely believes it is a dragon in disguise.

But the moment everything crossed the threshold of the new space, something shifted. The studio seemed to exhale a soft, shimmering welcome home.

The Chaos Before the Magic

Let’s be honest: the move was hard…the kind of hard that tests your patience, your muscles, and occasionally your sanity. Dress forms refused to fit through doors. Thread spools rolled away like mischievous sprites. Tools hid themselves in boxes they definitely weren’t packed in. The ice‑dye supplies even tried to stage a coup.

But every challenge was part of the spell. Every heavy lift became a stitch in the tapestry of our next chapter. And slowly, beautifully, the chaos softened into possibility.

We picked up a truck, and my new husband gallantly attempted to help me move the industrial Juki, my cutting table, and my husky toolboxes… without a ramp. It was 105°F at 10 a.m., and it took us four hours of sheer determination. By the time we got home, we were toast…sun‑baked, sweat‑soaked, absolutely exhausted…but everything was moved. And that felt like magic in its own right.

Configuring a New Creative Realm

Once the dust settled, the studio began telling us where everything belonged…because of course it did. The cutting table demanded sunlight. The corsetry tools claimed a proud corner. The scissors gathered themselves into a gleaming constellation on the wall, each one finally given a proper place of honor. Twill tape and satin ribbon found their homes, tucked neatly into their new perches like tiny enchanted scrolls.

We installed the grid wall, which immediately started behaving like a proud gallery holding patterns, tools, and inspiration with theatrical flair. The Elfa pegboard mounted itself into usefulness, ready to display the tools that make magic possible. Decorative and product canvases took their positions on the walls, transforming the studio into a storybook of past creations and future dreams.

Reference books settled onto their shelves with a satisfied sigh, and patterns hung themselves in tidy rows, ready for the next spark of imagination. The ice‑dye station insisted on room to splash and swirl, and the fabrics organized themselves everywhere like shimmering waterfalls.

We got the joy of collaborating with a space that already knew what FaeryStar Designs needed.

Why This Move Matters

This new studio isn’t just bigger. It’s aligned with our growth, our creativity, and our clients’ transformations.

It offers us the room to dream bigger with more space for couture, corsetry, and textile artistry. Room to breathe…a calmer, more intentional environment for fittings. Room to grow with new opportunities for collaborations and collections. Room to enchant, every corner feels ready to be part of someone’s story.

This move is the best version of magic for us because it allows FaeryStar Designs to become what it was always meant to be: A place where garments aren’t just made, they’re conjured.

The studio is ready. The tools are ready. The magic is ready.

And now… So are you.

Welcome to the new FaeryStar Designs studio at 1806 Haltom Rd, Haltom City, TX 76117. Where couture meets whimsy. Where corsetry meets storytelling. Where every garment begins with a spark.

By appointment only…because magic deserves dedicated time.
